Catechism Questions 1-10

Mommy's been working with me on these for the last year, and lately I've really started liking them! I ask to do them and am learning a new one every week, sometimes more.

The Fairy in my Garden

Eowyn's been more excited to play with her dress-up clothes than ever-- I guess she's growing into them.  She usually is a princess, sometimes a fairy, sometimes both at once.  Even as a sushi-cooking, baby-rocking, cleaning mama she prefers to wear her favorite pink "p'incess 'kirt."

"Thank You for Nina, My Favorite Part..."

I love living so close to Nina & GB-- I get to see them all the time!  Nina usually makes me smoothies, and keeps a stash of strawberries for me.  She has set up a cool area for me to play at her house, and I know where all the toys are.  Sometimes she comes over to watch me at my house, too, and she is a whiz with sidewalk chalk.  We made a path, and we hopped, skipped, and walked on it.  Best of all was when she spun me around!!

Monkeyin Around our Neighborhood Park

I love my "giraffe dress" from Grams and my new "favorite soft shoes" Mom picked up on consignment for $1.  I love the swings most of all, but Mom has to keep taking breaks from pushing me-- I even tried out the big girl ones!  Usually cautious, I am getting braver since I've come to this park a few times; I've tried out the climbing gym and one of the slides!

Pigtails!

Another milestone achieved:  today Mommy put my hair into two true-blue pigtails (or as I call them, "tails.").  I like them a lot, and everyone says I look cute.  Don't I always?

At E'nor & 'Carlett's House

While Daddy was in Paris, Mommy & I spent some time out in LaGrange, KY at our friends Mr. Ben & Mrs. Amanda's house.  It's a super-cool old barn that they've renovated, whatever that means.  Mommy's impressed, anyway.  I just like playing with my friends, Eleanor (2 1/2) and Scarlett (1).  I got sick, so we got to watch Beauty and the Beast the whole way through and I got to sleep in Mommy's bed one night.  Now THAT is fun.  We also painted for my first time.  The only paint I'd ever heard of was the kind on my nails, so when I got ahold of a paintbrush & some tempera, I started on my thumb.  I got the hang of it pretty quickly, though.  My favorite part of their house is the swing outside.  Going on a walk was fun, too.

I'd like to do one of these each year showing how she's grown & what she likes. Kind of a virtual scrapbook. I'll be uploading one of our family's year on my blog soon.

PS- these are some of Eowyn's favorite songs right now. The first is one she often falls asleep to, the other two she requests & tries to sing.

Recognizing Drupal & Commerce Guys

Daddy captured this, and it's perfect.  First she insists that the Druplicon (the water-drop shaped icon) is the "Commerce Guys" logo, then corrects herself and remarks "It's Drupal, not Commerce Guys."
