Scrapbooking

We girls have a weekly date with the Montgomery girls, for scrapbooking & girl time. Jenny & I try to get as much done as we can while the girls nap, and then when they're up, we get in a little more! Eowyn was very cooperative and just kicked happily away as I finished a page.

Just Barely Awake

Now that she can push her head up, I love coming to get her from a nap even more. Her little head pops up and her eyes just barely see me over the cradle bars, and she gives me an award-winning grin that says "Hi, Mommy! I love you!" Here she is snuggling with Daddy seconds after waking up.

Mirror Fun

A friend just gave us a ring sling out of the blue, and E was being clingy so I thought I'd try it out. Still not sure how I like it. Sure, it works, but my "moby" wrap already did and was more versatile and I felt more secure... and the Ergo is always super-easy and super-secure.





Eowyn's started noticing her own reflection, smiling so sweetly at that "other baby" and her mama. She doesn't seem too weirded out that I'm over there, yet also holding her...

Kickin!

Whenever you lay her down she starts to kick and grin!! We've got a mover & a shaker here! She's started scooting, and we find her with her face plastered in the corner of her crib, finally asleep. Guess she doesn't know how to go backwards once she's gone forwards. She also has begun to converse in fluent "velociraptor"-- she screeches and growls and makes her voice quite loudly heard! My favorite is when she sings. :) It's a very very sweet little sound.

Bye-Bye, Bassinet!

Our baby girl asleep in (my) cradle. We gave the bassinet back to some friends who are expecting their 2nd, and made room in our dining room for our new table, hutch & chairs! We'll see how it goes with her in the cradle in our room! She's getting so big it might be crib-time soon. 'Til then, I sure enjoy having her near, and NOT having far to go at that early early morning feeding!

Happy in Daddy's Arms

It was our friends Ryan & Sarah's daughter Brooklynn's first birthday party today! Eowyn sure enjoyed all the other kids... and being held by her daddy! :)
