From Argentina

"Papa D" studying for his Sunday message. (he likes this picture-- makes him look holy. ;D)

Nico, the little guy I homeschooled. His mom lived down the street, and he basically lived in the street... He looks so sweet here, though. Sometimes, no matter how much I loved him, I wanted to scream "Ay, demonio!" But he really just needs a lot of love. And the fear of God.

Donells walking down towards the village (Carlos Paz) from our home on Rivadavia

I love this picture of Don & Amy! The way she's looking at him while he talks is just so typical... (That's mate-- pronounced MAH-teh-- they're drinking)

Ianito, with a medialuna (that means "half-moon"...ummm...medialunas...sweet and light) Ams, remember the time we had those at the Obelisco in Buenos Aires, with Elizabeth Sarratt-Miller?

Perspectives

Took these around good ol' Furman my freshman year (Fall 2003)
"The Way of the Past"

"Looking Back"

"In Retrospect"

I think this will always be my favorite picture of Kaje. He just looks so happy (as USUAL)! ...Dear Kyle, truly the friend of my heart. I miss you, buddy!

I love our windows!

...I really like that picture because of the way the photograph itself turned out...and also because it's a reminder of a boyfriend who chooses to serve me in many, many ways...and seems to enjoy doing it! =D

The Shuey Kids

Nicole's Senior Pics

We were planning a big Senior-Photo shoot outside, but it was pouring the Sunday we had scheduled. I love rain-light photos, though, so it was off to Project Share (our church's clothes closet) for sheets (reflectors and backdrop-neutralizers, and then all around the chapel taking pictures. I love challenges, and I think these turned out rather well. She's so fun to photograph.

Oh-- she tinted this one herself.

The one we went with in her invitations.

Here it is in color.

More Senior Pics

I still haven't mastered the art of getting blogger to format the way I want it to, so right now photograph descriptions are a chore. It's easier to handle in small doses.

Experimented with the crispness of this one, and am quite pleased. Plus, that just captures so much of her personality.

*grin*

Still More Senior Pics

I love the way she blurred this one.

Just one I liked.
