Eowyn was sooo good on the way home!
Once upon a time, this was my would-be photography site. Then, a darling, dimpled, chubby-cheeked cherub entered our arms, and our camera flashes were quickly turned to chronicling every moment of her precious life. Check in for your daily dose of Éowyn Grace. Everybody needs some.

In the Tea Shop
Entertained by all the people around us (it was very crowded both times we went in), as well as Sophie the Giraffe.

Parisian Teething
Mom & Dad took me out in the wind and drizzle to go see some stupid cathedral named Notre Dame or something. I think they were hoping I'd be so bored that I'd fall asleep (it was my bedtime, and my stroller usually is quite acceptable as a bed for me), but just to show them who's boss, I stayed UP! I mean, my teeth are coming in, and they need to remember just how much that hurts! Mom buttoned me up in her coat and I couldn't help myself... that heartbeat next to my ear just hypnotized me right to sleep. Next thing I knew I was in my stroller, waking up in some cozy little cafe, and I could smell ICE CREAM! HAH like I was going to sleep through that! I grabbed for their spoons and they finally let me gnaw on an empty one. That cold felt soooo good on my sore gums! I liked Dad's finger, too. Nice and chewy.
Little Sight-See-er
A happy moment in the Musee du Moyen Age (Museum of the Middle Ages)-- the older woman beside us was absolutely taken with her gorgeous lumious baby blues. Of course. :)
This was rather a screamy day for our little tourist. Turns out two teeth were cutting on her gums!

CouCou, Maman!
Our French friend, Segolene, spoiled us with a trip to the biggest, best-dressed mall in Paris; the Galleries LaFayette. There she bought Eowyn some adorable French clothes (adorable as only French kid clothes can be), a little wooden train with an 'E' on it to go in her room, and a "DouDou" (French term for lovey or blankey or binki-- it comes from the word for "soft" or "gentle"). Eowyn loves the little rabbit already and I washed the shirt by hand so she could wear it today! Merci, Segolene! :)
PS-- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TIA ANNA!!

I Partied With Chuck E. Cheese (and Daddy)
Daddy turned 27, which as we all know is 3-cubed. This merited a special celebration, meaning we hosted a party for all our Sunday School kids and their families and our closest friends at that wonderful place, Chuck E. Cheese's, where a kid can be a kid! ;D We had triple the fun because we also celebrated two other Sunday School birthdays: Leah and Andrew both were turning 10, so Ryan shared his birthday glory, pizza, tokens, cupcakes and cake. It was supposed to happen ON his and Andrew's birthday, the 15th, but because of snow we rescheduled to the 18th, which was Leah's actual birthday. When we had to postpone, you would have thought they canceled Christmas Ryan was so bummed. I just hope our kids enjoy their birthdays half as much as Ryan enjoyed this one!! =D And Eowyn? She's a party girl all the way!

Hugging the Bed
This is Eowyn's new favorite way to sleep. When she settles down, she spreads her arms as wide as she can and "hugs" the cradle. Every time. =D

Sweater from Grandma B
Her "Canadian Grandma" knitted this sweater for her, and today's the first day I put it on her. It was a great fit and looks soooo cute with her "big girl" jeans! =D

What is that on my head?
Daddy captured this saga while he was watching his daughter while Mommy was in her seminary wives class.
