3 years ago, five couples were all newly-wedded and childless. We met with a more experienced couple every other week (I think?) to talk about marriage and read-- well, it was a book, but then our group decided to be overachievers and make up our own curriculum, so then it was articles and book chapters-- and discuss. I think the best part was meeting other couples and having a safe place to talk through what we were all going through. Fast forward three years, and now there are 7 children between us, plus our group leaders are pregant with their 5th!! That's a lotta babies, folks! We had a little reunion tonight, but unfortunately our group leaders & kids were down with the flu, so we'll have to do it again when they are well. We've missed you guys!
