Once upon a time, this was my would-be photography site. Then, a darling, dimpled, chubby-cheeked cherub entered our arms, and our camera flashes were quickly turned to chronicling every moment of her precious life. Check in for your daily dose of Éowyn Grace. Everybody needs some.

Slugs, Bugs, & Andrew Peterson
She's a fan.
She went right into his arms, which is an honor withheld from most strangers, especially of the male variety. My hunch is that she recognised his voice. She's holding her newest CD, the record Slugs, Bugs & Lullabies, now autographed by both AP & Randall Goodgame.

Hey, she went straight to my arms too. I'm a male. :)
So good to meet up with you guys in person, especially since Ryan won't e-mail me back. :)
One more smiley face. :) There.
Well, Sam, you are right on most every thing you said.
1. you are indeed male
2. she did go straight to you, much to my surprise
3. it was fun to meet you
4. Ryan is notorious for forgetting emails once they are read an no longer appear in bold in his inbox. Trust me, I know. :)
5. smiley faces are happy
As a fellow Rabbit Room fan, I stumbled across your blog via a set of links to 'Hutchmoot' blog posts. Living in England means I didn't get to go to Hutchmoot :(, so I'm 'reading' about it instead!!
My reason for commenting was the fact that I'm a big LOTR fan, and I've always wondered if there is anyone out there who named their children after the characters. I frequent TheOneRing.net and the topic has been raised before, but no one has ever mentioned knowing anyone called Eowyn. I was delighted to see your little girl has that name. Lovely :)
“The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” Isaiah 11:6
It is wholly appropriate that Eowyn was one of the first to greet Cherie and I at Hutchmoot. Cherie has been on the fringes of my Rabbit Room obsession and all its child-like wonder. Eowyn is a sweet memory for us both. “…a child shall lead them.” Eowyn’s disposition coupled with Isaiah's thoughts fired my imagination all week-end. Thanks for sharing your sweet family with us at Huthcmoot.
So good to hear from you guys! I'm very thankful that our baby was a blessing to you-- we love her so much ourselves, and pray that God will use her mightily for His kingdom!!
